(it turns out i was not wrong to be worried about the looking-like-an-idiot part, incidentally. the incredibly awesome, super sweet photog - also a pole student - kept alternatingly chiding me to smile, then suggesting i try and relax my face from the rictus-grin i kept plastering on my face.)

Oh my god that's amazing!! I desperately want to sign up for classes now. Only the only place that does regular classes here is at the strip club (Like, actually) and I think that sends the wrong message.
