paintings of the pole: volume REAL LIFE

i've been sitting on these for ages because.. well, i'm still not ENTIRELY sure i should be posting these on the Internet Of Foreverness and all, but fuck it. i'm pretty proud of them.

remember how maaaaany moons ago, i was prepping for a pole photo shoot? wherein i got 15 minutes to try out my best tricks while simultaneously trying not to look like an idiot? (it turns out i was not wrong to be worried about the looking-like-an-idiot part, incidentally. the incredibly awesome, super sweet photog - also a pole student - kept alternatingly chiding me to smile, then suggesting i try and relax my face from the rictus-grin i kept plastering on my face.)
