hnt: the feet. oh, the feet.

as a tribute to my total obsession with this fairly minor surgery i'm getting tomorrow, i hereby present you with today's hnt.... My Feet: Before.

of course, i can't ACTUALLY show you my feet, because they're kinda scary looking (above and beyond the alarming shape, i mean) so i used one of those fancy effects in photoshop. i'm so thoughtful!

and in case anyone was wondering, i TOTALLY didn't just take off my shoes and socks at work and take a picture of my feet under my desk. nosireebob, not me. that would be tasteless!

so theoretically, by tomorrow, Left Foot up there will be pointing straight ahead instead of meandering off to the left and burrowing under my other toes. Right Foot is biding its time for now... but i'm onto you, Right Foot. let Left Foot be an example to you. i will break you too, Right Foot. you'd better get in line, buddy. er, literally.

Just better watch out for the little toe, it has an inferiority complex....

  8. I totally want the doctor to walk into the OR and go all Ivan Drago and say to Alice's foot : (thick russki accent) "I must break you."

Also: Alice has had two dreams about me in two weeks. Ask her what the other one- the non-standup-comedy-one was. Just ask her.

  14. I believe you'll be fine after surgery, and you'll recover quickly. Hopefully you won't have to use the bedpan for very long.
