it occurred to me that i'm going to lose my cat lady status soon without some gratuitous kittie pictures, so let's get cracking, shall we?
i woke up this morning to a surprisingly cat-free bedroom. oliver is usually planted firmly on my windowsill when i wake up, if i've left the window open at night, and bella usually comes to walk on my face and meow for attention as soon as she hears my alarm. neither cat was present this morning, though. so i got up and looked in the dining room and living room.. no cats. then i noticed my kitchen cabinet was open. the high cabinet. and there were treats knocked onto the floor. sort of exactly like THIS scene, which some of you may remember from april: except this time, i came around the kitchen corner to THIS:
..and a very similar landscape to last time: you can see bella still up on top of the cabinet in that last one. oliver learned his lesson and had already fled the scene. he's apparently well on his way to teaching her the tricks of the trade.
LOL! Oh my God, I love your cats!
ReplyDeleteI love this post all the more because I've been in that apartment! I've met those crazy cats! Go me!
ReplyDeleteYeaaaa I saw that this morning and I put those treats on the counter but I was afraid you would think I was weird for taking those things out...but I'm glad you know that it wasn't me trying to raid the cat shelf...hahaha

ReplyDeleteBrilliant cats you have there, Alice. Have you considered installing child-proof locks on the cabinet?
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess in this case they'd be kitty-proof locks. HA HA HA HA...ugh. Sorry.
They are so cute up there together! This picture makes me smile.
ReplyDelete"What, we're innocent, I tell you!"
cat lady status: reconfirmed.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that is too cute. Lucky for me, my cat is waaaaaay too fat and unmotivated to get up that high.
ReplyDeleteYour crazy-ass cats make you the crazy cat lady. Next time, try getting dumber cats, ok?!
ReplyDeleteWhat? Did we do something wrong? Don't mind us, we're just sitting up here...thinking. Yeah, thinking. That's all.
ReplyDeleteROTFL
My cat likes to closely watch the leopard gecko. He doesn't like it so much...
PS: I'm pretty sure that pic of the two of them up high should be an LOLCATs pic.
