a little more on Bicep Sex.

aw, you guys! your hearty embracing of the ho lifestyle just warms the cockles of my heart!

for the record, i have nothing against Bicep Sex in general. (also? Bicep Sex is totally a new and valid term and we shall start using it immediately.) i just don't have any Bicep Sex prospects, at the moment. i'm not even sure how i found Bicep Sex partners in the past. i'm thinking my standards were lower.

i'm also a little wary because i've had pretty bad luck in the f-buddy arena. the way i see it, sex is fun, and does not need to be tied to Deep And Meaningful Soul-Gazing to be enjoyable. and supposedly it's the GUYS who feel this way and the GIRLS who can't handle it, yet i've had THREE DIFFERENT potential f-buddy arrangements turn into the guy developing "feelings." two of those times they've even coerced me into actual relationships as a result. WTF, DUDES? can't we all just have some bicep sex and be happy?

in other news, i seem to always be "the guy" in my relationships. weird.

  1. You are probably just too awesome to be a potential Bicep Sex partner....they can't handle just one night.

  2. You are such a guy. But, if it makes you feel better, I wear the pants in my house, too. That is, until we have a leaky faucet and that's when Sweets gets to work! ha.

  4. You are every guy's dream!

I'm the guy in the relationship too. Who needs to talk stuff out when there's baseball on?

  5. I guess I jus thought that "bicep sex" was (for the guys anyway) something you did by yourself to, ahem, build your biceps...

  7. Heh, cockles. Heh.

Also, I'm the guy in my relationship too. Sometimes those b*tches can get so emotional, ya know?! Eh, it's actually fun to swap gender role conventions from time to time.

Finding an f-buddy is hard...heh. Hard. Hopefully as long as you lay (heh) the ground rules out at the beginning, and don't let it go on too long, it'll work out...though I don't know of too many people who have had successful f-buddies.

  8. I've had that problem too. A lot of girls are a lot more like stereotypical guys than the women's magazines would have us believe.

  9. I had the same thing happen with both Bicep Boys! What the hell?

    A. swears girls are the ones looking for f-buddies. He knows of many girls, me formerly included, who seek them out and not a single one of his guy friends is into it. Weird.

    Poor boys! So freakin' sentimental!

  10. Mr. A and I take turns being the guy. That's how I knew he was the man (and woman) for me.

  11. If you think bicep sex is good wait until you have regular genital to genital sex.

  12. I agree: you've totally added a new term to the lexicon here. :-)

  13. Knot's comment is the shit.

I was just reminded of that Family Guy episode where Meg and the kids at her school have ear sex to stay chaste. Ew.

  14. bicep sex starts out all flexy and easy. until it goes on too long. then it's clingy and then a default relationship. you gotta get in and out early.

huh. that last sentence sounds more awkward than intended.

  15. I've only had one bicep partner that actually stayed an f-buddy. Most of the time I have the same problem with them getting all attached and clingy. I've had to say goodbye to a few really beautiful biceps because of exactly that problem. sigh.

  16. This happens to me, too. Guys just...get attached. When I never meant them to.

Also, Bicep Sex may be my new favorite term. I'm totally stealing it.

  20. No matter how many times I re-read it, 'bicep sex', in my mind, is when you get your arm in all the way up to the bicep.

    Lovely.
