slave to fashion
i'm rocking the black tights look today. correction: i'm attempting to rock the black tights look today. i haven't worn tights since i was about 9, and i'm not at all sure that a) i can still pull it off, or that b) i even know how to wear tights anymore. i should have started with tights under boots, i think, but i went hog wild today - hog wild, i say! - and wore a knee length skirt, opaque black tights, and black heels. I AM A CRUSADER FOR FASHION, PEOPLE.

Listen, I wear black tights with flats all the time, as do many of the women in my office, and nobody even notices. I think you're fine. Almost anyone can pull off that look at this point.
ReplyDeleteI wear black tights (they don't run as easily as hose) whenever I wear a knee-length black skirt, which is like ALMOST NEVER. But sometimes, particularly when attending funerals. I think it looks good. BUT, and it's a HUGE WHOMPING BUT, I am a complete an utter fashion LOSER! So, you might want to think about that. ;)

it looks fine... As long as the tights aren't purple and the heels arent pirple leopard print (no shit I saw someone wearing this. Paired with a demure business suit I add!)
