better late

so i've been living in DC (Arlington, whatever, you sticklers) for three years now, and had never gone into the city at night to see the monuments all lit up and purdy in the dark. i had friends visiting this past weekend though, so it afforded us the perfect opportunity. it was gorgeous, aside from all the mosquitos.
