last weekend was all sorts of good times. my lovely friend shannon came to dc, along with her fantastic husband bret and their son elliott, who is totally my boyfriend.
it's super neat to see my college buddy (and official corrupter! i was quite the naive little flower when i got to school), now such a natural, devoted mom. we dragged little elliott all over dc for the afternoon, touring the monuments and gabbing nonstop. we finished the day with a bottle of wine in shannon & bret's hotel room. it was a wonderful, tiring, excellent day.
on sunday, alyssa, jennifer and i drove out to the kuuuuuntry to go hang out on a farm and pick pumpkins. and also be as cheesy as possible.
i think we accomplished that goal quite handily.
it was an excellent way to spend a weekend, although very tiring.. i should have taken monday off to recuperate :-)
Great pics! Where is that 4th one from, the one with the water? I must visit it.
ReplyDeleteI can see why Elliott is your boyfriend - those eyes!
ReplyDeleteThat kid is going to be a heart breaker with those cute cheeks and all. Cutie!
ReplyDeleteI always think we need Mondays off to get over our wild weekends. It's only fair.

ReplyDeleteElliot is so adorable! And I love that name.
ReplyDeleteI hope to visit DC someday.
You were at Great Country Farms?!?! I think that is twice in one week in Loudoun?
ReplyDeleteElliot is a doll, no wonder you fell for him! And your pics always make me think I need a trip into D.C. Although, I rather like living in the kuuuuuntry.
