the exorcism of emily rose

theboyfriend and i went to go see that last night, and lemme just say i am SO AWFULLY GLAD i didn't wake up at 3am and smell burning.

although, come to think of it, i can't see the clock when i wake up in the middle of the night (the whole
blind thing, you know?) so i guess the whole ordeal would lose a lot of its freakiness for me. huh. i'm way less freaked out now. excellent. :-)

  1. after "the exorcist" came out when I was a kid, Priests scared the @$# out of me! I have not paid to see any of those types of movies since

  2. Yeah...I'm too chicken to see the movie for myself. I still sleep with lights on.

  4. Luckily I'm a Buddhist, so those movies don't scare me. I don't really get them either, but at least I'm not scared.

  6. Sure, but if you're "blind" wouldn't your sense of smell be sharper and, thus, make you more prone to catch burning odors? Just a thought....

  7. i saw the movie as well this past weekend.

so after knowing this was based on a true story, do you believe "demonic possession" as a reality?

  8. I want to see that movie. Yeah, I think I'll get freaked and not leave a light off in my house at night for a month! But I think I'll wait for it to come out on DVD, seems I can be less freaked out at home, unless I have to go in the basement...hmmmm, maybe I'll skip it all together! We have a radio station here 89x that on their website had the original audio taping of the actual exorcism of Emily and yeah, that scared me...I'm sure other radio stations did it too. If you want the info where to find it, lemme know..its only about 2minutes long.

  10. As saomeone who has been exorcised a few times, you need to know that we always come back to familiar haunts.
